The Paleochora Runners Association is pleased to announce the 9th Paleochora Half Marathon on Sunday, October 19, 2025. At the same time, there will be 5 and 10 km road races as well as a children’s race.
Runners of all ages and fitness levels can participate in this sporting event, which aims to promote the spirit of athletics and highlight the natural beauty of the region.
We look forward to seeing you all there to send the message that we can all do it.

The event includes three running races, as well as a children’s race, starting and finishing in Paleochora, as follows:
Half marathon 21.1 km, 100 m+
– 10 km, 50 m+
– 10 km, 50 m+
– Children’s race
Registration & Participation Fees:
– 21 km – €15
– 10 km – €10
– 5 km – €8
– Children’s race – Free
Providing:
-Electronic timing
-Food/water supply during the race
-Refreshments after the race
-Storage area for personal belongings at the finish line
-Commemorative finisher’s medal
-Technical T-shirt
Awards
Categories-Souvenirs–Awards:The categories in which cups and medals will be awarded are as follows:
For the long distance of 21 km there will be a general classification for men and women and the following categories:
– General Classification of the first 3 men and the first 3 women
– Men up to 45 years old, Men 46 and over.
– Women up to 45 years old, Women 46 and over.
In the 10 km race, prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Men up to 45 years old, Men 46 and over.
Women up to 45 years old, Women 46 and over.
For the 5 km race there will be:
General Classification of the first 3 men and the first 3 women
All participants will be given commemorative medals and gifts. The awards to the winners will take place at the finish line, on the day of the race, Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 10:30 pm.
